Resources for Providers and Office Staff
This page is a compilation of resources and materials for providers partnering with the Cancer Services Program (CSP). As described on our other pages, CSP is a reimbursement program for uninsured and underinsured patients ages 40 - 64 in need of or wanting Breast and Cervical Cancer screenings and persons 50-64 for Colorectal screenings.
To ensure that patients are getting screenings, we also look to our partners to inform patients of the availability of our program and encourage them to get screened, after all…

Direct Provider Payment System
The Direct Provider Payment System (DPP) has been implemented October 1, 2018, services provided to eligible clients by CSP participating providers will be reimbursed directly by the state and HRI. Regardless of funding source, Direct Provider Payment (DPP) will reimburse the global (professional and technical) payment directly to the one site code reported. If a non-service site employed provider is associated with the service rendered, the site paid will need to arrange payment to the provider supplying their professional services (i.e. radiology, pathology, and anesthesia).
Webinar available here and slides are included in the attachments below.
NOTE: to help the New York State Department of Health manage distribution of this recording, viewers will be asked to provide their name, email, CSP affiliation (e.g.: CSP of....) and their organizational affiliation (i.e. XYZ Hospital, etc.)
